Mindy has practiced as a speech language pathologist for 18 years. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and a master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from San Diego State University.
Mindy has worked primarily in pediatric inpatient and outpatient hospitals and private practice settings. Mindy has also participated in program development and start-up projects. She worked for Project HOPE in Turkey for one year establishing a speech therapy department and partnering with universities and hospitals for sustainable education and training. She was a charter member of Children's Care Connection at San Diego Children's Hospital, a grant-funded developmental assessment and parent education program. Mindy also worked as a clinical supervisor at the University of Texas Speech and Hearing Center master's degree program. Most recently Mindy worked at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin prior to starting Kitestrings.
Mindy provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognitive, swallowing, and social communication disorders.
