Maggi has been practicing for 16 years as an Occupational Therapist. She received a BA degree in Psychology from Delta State University, then graduated from LSU Medical Center with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. Maggi, her husband, and their 3 daughters moved from Memphis, Tennessee to Austin in 2010 and have been enjoying the active lifestyle that this area affords.
Maggi has worked exclusively in pediatrics since 2001, and has treated children with a wide range diagnoses in clinics, schools, and in the home. Additionally, she has received specialty certification and has trained in NDT, Handwriting Without Tears, MORE approach, The Listening Program, Astronaut Training and Infant Massage. She presented at the "NICU and Beyond" conference for LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, and has worked extensively with families of NICU graduates as they enter and navigate the world after prolonged hospitalization. In addition to her work in OT, Maggi has also coached middle school cross-country and track, as well as coordinated and directed a run camp for middle school girls.
